SIX-YEAR SERVICE
Dry Chemical Regular Maintenance
This service is required under NFPA 10. Every six-year cycle after the manufacture date, the extinguisher will be internally inspected and parts will be replaced as needed. This service allows the extinguisher to be used for an additional six years. If a recharge is needed on an extinguisher, a six-year service will also be performed.
HYDROSTATIC TEST
Dry Chemical
Refurbish
This service is required under NFPA 10. Under normal circumstances, unless the extinguisher was discharged, twelve years after the manufacture date, the extinguisher is due for a hydrotest. This will test the integrity of the cylinder and will reset the manufacturer date which will allow it to be used for an additional six years.
EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS
Service and Repairs
Emergency Exit Lights are one of the most highly neglected aspects of fire and safety. Periodic testing of these items will extend the life of the units and make sure they will function when needed in the event of a real emergency.
